Visa

If you are not an EU national, you will need a visa to enter the countries of study (France, Estonia, Belgium and Luxembourg).

If you are concerned, once you have received your admission letter, we strongly advise you to apply at the earliest for a Long-Stay Visa (Visa VLS-TS) at the French Consulate of your country of residence. 
 
Your visa application must be carried out on France-Visas, the official visa website for France. You will find the different steps you need to follow to complete your application.
For a Long-Stay Visa it is recommended to submit your application between 2 to 3 months before arrival in France. 

 
STEP 1: Gather information on your situation

STEP 2:  Set up your online application

Fill your online application here. You will have to create an account and follow instructions. 
Print your application form and the receipt of application at the end of the process. Bring these documents with all other supporting documents to your appointment at the visa section of the French Consulate.
Please note: There will be application fees. 

STEP 3: Book your appointment at the French Consulate of your country of residence

In most cases, the consular services use external service providers to receive visa applicants and their documents. You will find all the necessary details to make an appointment on the country of application page.

STEP 4: Submit your file

You must attend your appointment with all the required documents:

  • Passport,
  • 2 recent ID pictures in ISO/IECI format (pdf),
  • Online application form signed and dated,
  • The “récépissé de demande de rendez-vous” (that is the proof of appointment),
  • Copy of your last diploma
  • CYBERUS letter of admission,
  • Proof of accommodation for the first three-month,
  • Proof of CYBERUS scholarship or other financial support stating that you have at least 615 euros per
  • month to live in France.

Please note: There will be visa fees. STEP 5 - Track your application

Step 5: Track your application

You will be notified by email when your passport is ready for collection from the visa centre of your country of residence. 
 
Under EU Directive 2016/801, you do not need an extra visa to travel within the EU within the two years. But within two months of arriving in France you will have to validate your visa and apply for a resident permit marked “Student - Mobility”.

Please note that it is impossible to transform a tourist visa into a student visa.
